Purpose The integration of technology in the cruise ship industry offers tourists a valuable opportunity to engage with robotic services and entertainment while on board. This research aims explore how cruisers’ perceived enjoyment significantly influences disconfirmation emotional appeal robots. Design/methodology/approach In total, 500 cruisers traveling from Florida, who had experiences Royal Caribbean Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) ships, participated data collection through online platform Prolific, reputable for academic large diverse participant pool; 404 sets were analyzed partial least squares-structural equation model. Findings findings underscore positive impact travelers’ enjoyable robots not only enhance their but also contribute stronger effect. Moreover, customer engagement was found moderate relationship between positively, impacting overall satisfaction travelers. Purpose This study aims to explore how engagement with AI mediates the relationship between adoption in tourism and resulting smart experiences, which ultimately foster both love perceived happiness among tourists. Design/methodology/approach Data were collected from 622 domestic Thai tourists aged 19 above who visited Khon Kaen Province within past three months used AI-powered tools for tourism. The hypothesised model was tested using structural equation modelling (SEM) through a two-step approach. Entering the new development stage, empowering modern tourism system by upgrading it with quality productive forces (NQPF) is of great significance in promoting high-quality China’s industry. Based on panel data 30 provinces China between 2018 and 2022, two-way fixed effects model, mediated-effects spatial Durbin model SDM were constructed using STATA 16 for empirical analysis. Results indicated that NQPF have a significant facilitating effect system, which reflected four aspects: industrial efficiency upgrading, technology structure open sharing upgrading. The results mechanism test show dynamic capacity industry plays an important intermediary role process system.
