The monitoring of environmental pollution requires fast, reliable, cost-effective and small devices. This need explains the recent trends in development biosensing devices for pollutant detection. present review aims to summarize newest regarding use biosensors detect contaminants. Enzyme, whole cell, antibody, aptamer, DNA-based biomimetic sensors are discussed. We their applicability detection various pollutants mention constructive characteristics. Several principles used biosensor design: amperometry, conductometry, luminescence, etc. They differ terms rapidity, sensitivity, profitability, design. Each one is characterized by specific selectivity limits depending on sensitive element. Mimetic slowly gaining attention from researchers users due advantages compared with classical ones. Further studies necessary robust that can successfully be complex matrices without prior sample preparation.

Abstract Mycotoxin contamination in foods and other goods has become a broad issue owing to serious toxicity, tremendous threat public safety, terrible loss of resources. Herein, it is necessary develop simple, sensitive, inexpensive, rapid platforms for the detection mycotoxins. Currently, limitation instrumental chemical methods cannot be massively applied practice. Immunoassays are considered one best candidates toxin due their simplicity, rapidness, cost‐effectiveness. Especially, field dual‐mode immunosensors corresponding assays rapidly developing as an advanced intersected technology. So, this review summarized types principles single‐mode including optical electrical recent years, then focused on integrated combined detect mycotoxins, well combination with portable device point‐of‐care test. The remaining challenges were discussed aim stimulating future development accelerate transformation scientific laboratory technologies into easy‐to‐operate platforms.

Safety and quality are key issues for the food industry. Consequently, there is growing demand to preserve chain products against substances toxic, harmful human health, such as contaminants, allergens, toxins, or pathogens. For this reason, it mandatory develop highly sensitive, reliable, rapid, cost-effective sensing systems/devices, electrochemical sensors/biosensors. Generally, conventional techniques limited by long analyses, expensive complex procedures, skilled personnel. Therefore, developing performant biosensors can significantly support screening of chains products. Here, we report some recent developments in area analyze contributions produced their challenges.
