AbstractPesticides have an important role in rising the overall productivity and yield of agricultural foods by eliminating controlling insects, pests, fungi, various plant-related illnesses. However, overuse pesticides has caused pesticide pollution water bodies food products, along with disruption environmental ecological systems. In this regard, developing low-cost, simple, rapid-detecting approaches for accurate, rapid, efficient, on-site screening residues is ongoing challenge. Electrochemiluminescence (ECL) possesses benefits great sensitivity, capability to resolve several analytes using different emission wavelengths or redox potentials, excellent control over light radiation time space, making it a powerful strategy sensing pesticides. Cost-effective simple ECL systems allow sensitive, selective, accurate quantification fields. Particularly, development progress nanomaterials, aptamer/antibody recognition, electric/photo-sensing, their integration electrochemiluminescence technology presented hopeful potential reporting residual amounts Current trends application nanoparticles are debated, emphasis on sensor substrates aptamer, antibodies, enzymes, molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs). Different strategies enclosed labeled label-free luminescence determination (signal-off, signal-on, signal-switch modes). Solid-phase extraction (SPE) has gained an essential role in environmental analytical chemistry. Classic off-line SPE coupled with LC-MS/MS systems creates powerful procedures for ultratrace analysis of contaminants emerging concern (CECs) water. But, being associated tedious work and large consumption materials, alternative modes are becoming interesting. As so, the study focuses on development, evaluation, overall comparison established novel modes. Off-line SPE, dispersive micro (DMSPE), 'fast' single-pump on-line were explored, using commercially available sorbents. Their efficiency was evaluated their performance water 20 multiclass CECs. Hydrophilic-lipophilic sorbent mixture C18/C8 sorbents best choice DMSPE, respectively. All optimized UHPLC-MS/MS reached environmentally-relevant limits detection (LODs 0.1-12 ng L

Environmental pollution is a growing threat to natural ecosystems and one of the world’s most pressing concerns. The increasing worldwide use pharmaceuticals has elevated their status as significant emerging contaminants. Pharmaceuticals enter aquatic environments through multiple pathways related anthropogenic activity. Their high consumption, insufficient waste treatment, incapacity organisms completely metabolize them contribute accumulation in environments, posing all life forms. Various analytical methods have been used quantify pharmaceuticals. Biotechnology advancements based on next-generation sequencing (NGS) techniques, like eDNA metabarcoding, enabled development new for assessing monitoring ecotoxicological effects metabarcoding valuable biomonitoring tool pharmaceutical because it (a) provides an efficient method assess predict status, (b) identifies sources, (c) tracks changes levels over time, (d) assesses ecological impact pollution, (e) helps prioritize cleanup mitigation efforts, (f) offers insights into diversity composition microbial other bioindicator communities. This review highlights issue while emphasizing importance using modern NGS-based actions its environmental more consistently effectively.

Abstract Emerging contaminants (ECs) are substances that have no defined environmental quality standards or regulations, and the potential to pose major adverse impacts on environment human health. The detection of in natural is key step for establishing precise risk assessment approach ECs. However, ECs come from different origins with various physicochemical properties, making their a complicated process. Moreover, presence aquatic at trace concentration range (ng/L-µg/L), requires an accurate low levels. This study aims develop efficient analytical method simultaneous determination 5 aqueous solution based solid phase extraction technique (SPE) followed by liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC–MS/MS). High recovery rates (72% 114%) were achieved all targeted compounds. Ciprofloxacin (CIP), diuron (DIU), terbutryn (TER) diclofenac (DIC) had limit (LOD) µg/L quantification (LOQ) 10 ng/L, while LOD LOQ EE2 25 50 respectively. These results confirm optimized can be applied analysis classes environment.
