Many natural products (NPs) exhibit strong antioxidant activity, making them valuable for various applications. In this context, the emergence of deep eutectic solvents (DESs) is expected to help address growing demand innovative, efficient, and more sustainable methods NPs extraction. DESs are designer that provide higher yields enhance activity extracted phytochemicals compared with conventional volatile organic solvents. Antioxidant naturally occurring molecules can also form DESs, either as hydrogen bond donors (HBD) or acceptors (HBA), creating DES (NADES) inherent activity. Resveratrol is the most important biopotential phytoalexin of stilbene group (natural polyphenolic secondary metabolites), synthesized naturally by action biotic and abiotic factors on plant. The yield individual bioactive compounds isolated from grapevine components, products by-products directly dependent conditions synthesis, extraction identification techniques used. Modern methods synthesis extraction, as well techniques, are centred use non-toxic solvents that have advantages realisation rapid extractions, maintenance optimal parameters, low energy consumption; this a challenge with promising results for various industrial applications. Actionable advances in identifying analysing stilbenes consist coupling synthesis/extraction/identification proven accurate, reproducible efficient. main remains to keep resveratrol compositionally unaltered while increasing its microbiome solubility stability nutraceutical food industry.

Various studies have shown that Hypogymnia physodes are a source of many biologically active compounds, including lichen acids. These lichen-specific compounds characterized by antioxidant, antiproliferative, and antimicrobial properties, they can be used in the cosmetic pharmaceutical industries. The main aim this study was to optimize composition natural deep eutectic solvents based on proline or betaine lactic acid for extraction metabolites from H. physodes. design experimental method response surface approach allowed optimization process specific metabolites. Based preliminary research, multivariate model experiment developed. For optimization, following parameters were employed confirm model: proline/lactic acid/water molar ratio 1:2:2. Such mixture efficient three depsidones (i.e., physodic acid, physodalic 3-hydroyphysodic acid) one depside atranorin). developed solvent mixtures ensured good efficiency when extracting thallus with high antioxidant properties.

Using natural plant extracts as food additives is a promising approach for improving products' quality, nutritional value, and safety, offering advantages both consumers the environment. Therefore, main goal of this study was to develop sustainable method extracting polyphenols carotenoids from horned melon peel using cloud point extraction (CPE) technique, intending utilize it additive. CPE novel separation pre-concentration different compounds while being simple, inexpensive, low-toxic. Three parameters within approach, i.e., pH, equilibrium temperature, time, were investigated independent variables through implementation Box-Behnken design statistical analyses. The optimized conditions maximum recovery carotenoids, reaching 236.14 mg GAE/100 g 13.80 β carotene/100 g, respectively, pH value 7.32, an temperature 55 °C, time 43.03 min. obtained bioactives' values under corresponded predicted ones, indicating suitability employed RSM model. These results highlight effectiveness in bioactive with varying polarities agricultural by-products, underscoring its potential enhancing waste advancing practices processing. According microbiological safety parameters, optimal extract suitable applications, storage refrigerated dark particularly beneficial. extract's enhanced stability these makes more viable option long-term storage, preserving quality.
