Abstract Digitalization of the supply chain (SC) has received plenty attention from practitioners and researchers in recent years to address challenges business environment assist firms achieving a circular SC. Implementing circularity operations is practice sustainability which utmost significance for sustainable development goals established by United Nations. This study empirically examines relation among flexibility, AI–IoT adoption, SC firm performance under economy (CE) based on resource orchestration theory (ROT), an integrated version extended‐resource‐based view, dynamic capability (DCT). Data were collected Indian manufacturing through questionnaire‐based survey examined using “structural equation modeling (SEM).” The results show that information flexibility organizational have highest impact adoption. Organizational shows full mediation with AI–IoT, would influence directly. analysis also indicates CE will affect between These findings pave way cross‐country analysis, formation practical strategies, policies related implementations.

Abstract Research on the development of sustainable supply chain models is highly active nowadays. Merging concept management with goals, leads to simultaneous consideration all economic, environmental and social factors. This paper addresses design a closed-loop including suppliers, manufacturers, distribution centers, customer zones, disposal centers considering consumption energy. In addition, play roles warehouse collection centers. The problem involves three choices remanufacturing, recycling, disposing returned items. objectives are total profit, energy number created job opportunities. As far as we know, these rarely considered in model. proposed model also responds demand real-life constraints for location, allocation inventory decisions framework. Another novelty this research develop set efficient Lagrangian relaxation reformulations fast heuristics solving real-world numerical example. results have revealed that obtained solution feasible developed algorithm models. Finally, comprehensive discussion provided highlight our findings managerial insights from results.

Abstract Data science and big data analytics (DS &BDA) methodologies tools are used extensively in supply chains logistics (SC &L). However, the existing insights scattered over different literature sources there is a lack of structured unbiased review methodology to systematise DS &BDA application areas SC &L comprehensively covering efficiency, resilience sustainability paradigms. In this study, we first propose an unique systematic for field &L. Second, use proposed on techniques fields aiming at classifying models/techniques employed, structuring their practical areas, identifying research gaps potential future directions. We analyse 364 publications which variety &BDA-driven modelling methods processes across decision-making levels. Our analysis triangulated resilience, perspectives. The developed novel classifications categorisations can be by researchers practitioners alike applications

Ecological sustainability has become a top priority for governments and business practitioners because of the massive surge in electronic waste (e-waste). This ecological context compelled firms to adopt reverse logistics (RL) invest advanced technologies with focus on sustainable recovery practices reducing excessive carbon emissions (CEs). study proposes multi-objective mixed integer programming (MOMIP) model configuring RL network design; it incorporates multiple products, facilities, processing technologies, selection vehicle types. The novelty this lies its consideration four green (inspection, dismantling, repair/refurbishing, recycling facilities), efforts maximize return yield potential form product, components, material recovery. main objective is minimize overall cost environmental impact due transportation. Further, weighted goal technique used determine efficient solutions furnish trade-off among conflicting objectives. mathematical validated utilizing real life case an electronics manufacturing firm India. total are both reduced, different selected automatically facilities. results demonstrate that increases significantly greener technology selections. also draws significant implications, specifically tax regulatory policies aid large extent along increasing product yield. Hence, will help industrial managers their strategic tactical decision making. Their evaluations options, selection, regard economic permit makers gain valuable managerial insights.
