This study examined commuters' mode choice behavior during the COVID-19 pandemic, focusing on impact of both tangibles and intangibles factors. To do so, authors developed a Hybrid Choice Model (HCM) which investigated effects sociodemographic characteristics, travel attributes, intangible factors such as satisfaction, safety, discomfort, behavior. The model was tested using Stated Preference data collected from commuters in Dalian City (China) via wenjuanxing, an online survey platform. results indicate that individual characteristics played significant role shaping people's perceptions influenced by factors, aforementioned More specifically, individuals, who perceived higher level measured terms worries about robbery, accidents, pandemic concerns, were less likely to choose cars. There is a research gap in understanding people's perceived risks and their commute mode shifts after the major shift anti-pandemic policies. Our study aims to reveal relationship between commuters' commuting transfers specific context of canceling We conducted an online sample survey residents 6 neighborhoods one month lifting policies Kunming, China.
