In this study, we aimed to investigate the impact of various ultrasound durations on structure and bioactivity sweet corncob polysaccharides treated with ultrasound-assisted degradation using hydrogen peroxide ascorbic acid (H2O2-Vc). We subjected treatment for 0, 30, 60, 90 min alongside H2O2-Vc method. then analyzed their chemical composition structure. Additionally, administered these mice type 2 diabetes (T2DM) through gavage at a dosage 200 mg/kg/day. The results indicated significant reduction in molecular weight degraded polysaccharides, while remained relatively stable. However, basic was retained. vivo experiments demonstrated that had positive T2DM, particularly 60-minute (UH-DSCBP-60 min), which effectively controlled blood glucose levels by regulating glycolipid metabolism livers T2DM. This approach also reduced inflammation oxidative stress inhibited disaccharide activity small intestine. can positively affect hypoglycemic activity. findings our study provide theoretical foundation valuable utilization polysaccharides.

Enzyme-assisted ultrasonic extraction (EAUE) was utilized and optimized for extracting polysaccharides from Schizochytrium limacinum meal (SLMPs) via the response surface methodology. The optimal EAUE conditions were determined as follows: enzyme concentration at 5.18%, temperature 53 °C, duration of 40 min, power 60 W, a liquid-to-material ratio 34 mL/g, achieving polysaccharide yield 11.86 ± 0.61%. purified component, SLMP1-1, isolated using DEAE Sepharose Fast Flow Sephadex G-100 columns, exhibited potent antioxidant activity. with molecular weight 25.5 kDa, comprises glucose, mannose, arabinose, galactose in molar 16.39:14.75:1:693.03. 1H NMR analysis revealed α configuration SLMP1-1. Antioxidant assessments, including DPPH, ABTS, ferric ion reduction assays, detected inhibitory values 21.82–82.98%, 38.21–98.46%, 3.30–20.30% 0.2–1.0 mg/mL. This confirmed effective capacity which is notably enhanced post oral gastric digestion. findings suggest that extracted hold significant promise natural antioxidants.

Lycopene-rich guava (Psidium guajava L.) exhibits significant economic potential as a functional food ingredient, making it highly valuable for the pharmaceutical and agro-food industries. However, there is need to enhance extraction methods of lycopene fully exploit its beneficial uses. In this study, we evaluated various ionic liquids identify most effective one extracting from guava. Among thirteen with varying carbon chains or anions, 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride demonstrated highest productivity. Subsequently, single-factor experiment was employed test impact several parameters on efficiency using selected liquid. These included time, ultrasonic power, liquid-solid ratio, concentration liquid, well material particle size. Moreover, models artificial neural networks genetic algorithms (ANN-GA) response surface methodology (RSM) were comprehensively assess first four key parameters. The optimized conditions liquid ultrasound-assisted (IL-UAE) determined follows: 33 min 225 W 22 mL/g 3.0 mol/L IL concentration, cycles three. Under these conditions, production reached an impressive yield 9.35 ± 0.36 mg/g while offering advantages such high efficiency, time savings, preservation benefits, importantly environmental friendliness.

Abstract Citrus is one of the world’s most abundant fruits containing vitamins, pigments, and fragrances, making it vital for several industries. However, these contain about 45–50% residues (peels), which often end up as waste can be harmful to environment if not properly treated. Bioethanol production from citrus peel offers a potential solution this problem. Hence, study explores using ultrasound-assisted pre-treatment method novel strategy extract d- Limonene (essential oil in residue), further demonstrates bioethanol production. This was done by investigating ultrasonication’s optimal effect on residue, followed The results show that, optimum values extraction were obtained at temperature 14.6 °C an ultrasound intensity 25.81 W/cm 2 with validation yield 134 ± 4.24 mg/100 g dry CPW. With ultrasonic parameters, went demonstrate essential hindered oils present. In this paper, the effects on drying time (Y1), color difference (Y2), unit energy consumption (Y3), polysaccharide content (Y4), rehydration ratio (Y5), and allantoin (Y6) of yam slices were investigated under different temperatures (50–70 °C), slice thicknesses (2–10 mm), radiation distances (80–160 mm). The optimal conditions determined by applying BP neural network wolf algorithm (GWO) model based response surface methodology (RMS). All above indices significantly affected (p < 0.05). rate effective water diffusion coefficient accelerated with increasing temperature decreasing thickness distance. selection lower helped reduce difference. increased then decreased temperature, thickness, distance, it was highest at 60 °C, 6 mm, 120 mm.
