This work investigates the applicability of clinoptilolite, a natural zeolite, as low-cost adsorbent for removing chromium from aqueous solutions using fixed bed studies. Access to clean water and sanitization is crucial all life on Earth, has been listed among the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Adsorption a simple economical technology for purification. However, conventional adsorbents, such as zeolites, biochar, activated carbon clay minerals, have some limitations, particularly their unsatisfactory adsorption efficiencies. Polyaniline (PANI), stable conducting polymer with facile synthesis, nitrogen-rich functional groups, tuneable morphology, promising candidate adsorbing various pollutants. This review attempts critically assess PANI-based adsorbents in terms of advantages, disadvantages, separation mechanisms pollutant removal. Low-cost natural waste materials, emerging ultrathin 2D nanosheets can also be adsorbents. Abstract The importance of food quality and safety lies in ensuring the best product to meet consumer demands public health. Advanced technologies play a crucial role minimizing risk foodborne illnesses, contamination, drug residue, other potential hazards food. Among them, quantum dots (QDs), as class advanced nanomaterials with unique physicochemical properties, are progressively demonstrating their value field safety. This review aims explore cutting‐edge research on different applications QDs safety, including encapsulation bioactive compounds, detection analytes, preservation packaging, intelligent freshness indicators.
