Sustainable
development
(SD)
is
vital
for
the
progress
of
Chinese
provinces,
especially
in
face
emerging
challenges.
This
study
constructs
an
index
system
SD
based
on
five
dimensions:
economic,
social,
ecological,
political,
and
cultural
aspects,
aligning
with
scientific
connotations
contemporary
requirements.
We
employ
improved
entropy-weight-TOPSIS
method
to
assess
30
provinces
from
2012
2022.
Our
analysis
explores
dynamic
evolution,
regional
disparities,
coupling
coordination,
long-term
trends,
convergence
provincial
SD.
The
findings
include:
(1)
Provincial
China
has
shown
consistent
growth,
but
significant
disparities
remain,
forming
a
gradient
distribution
high
low
order
“East-Central-Northeast-West.”
(2)
While
both
intra-regional
inter-regional
differences
have
decreased
over
time,
continue
be
significant,
serving
as
primary
source
differences.
(3)
Coupling
coordination
across
dimensions
improved;
however,
imbalance
persists,
uncoordinated
remaining
prominent
issue.
(4)
A
clear
“club
convergence”
phenomenon
observed,
indicating
that
neighboring
influences
one
another.
Higher
adjacent
regions
increases
likelihood
upward
shifts,
while
lower
tends
lead
downward
shifts.
(5)
Evidence
σ-convergence
β-convergence
suggests
ultimately
converging
toward
stable
state.
These
provide
valuable
insights
policymakers
aiming
enhance
sustainable

Abstract
This
study
investigates
the
impact
of
Environmental,
Social,
and
Corporate
Governance
(ESG)
dimensions
economic
growth
on
achievement
Sustainable
Development
Goals
(SDGs)
in
developing
countries.

panel

12
nations
2010
to
2022.

ARDL
(Pooled
Mean
Group)
method
is
applied

both
short‐term
long‐term
effects
disaggregated
ESG
components—environmental,
social,
governance
scores—on
SDG
attainment.
Robustness
confirmed
through
endogeneity
tests
conducted
using
Instrumental
Variable
(IV)
regression
analysis
with
Two‐Stage
Least
Squares
(2SLS)
method.

relationship

The
ecosystem
services
(ESs)
and
landscape
patterns
(LPs)
in
a
region
have
marked
impact
on
human
production
life
even
play
an
important
role

achievement
of
regional
Sustainable
Development
Goals
(SDGs).
Given
limited
consideration
LPs
ESs
SDGs
current
research,
it
is
especially
crucial
to
provide
comprehensive
targeted
policy
support
for
sustainable
development

developed
areas

environmental
perspective.
Utilizing
Lincang
National
Innovation
Demonstration
Zone
as
case
study,
we
evaluation
index
system
at
county
level
City.
This
was
established
based
extensive
field
surveys,
visits,
data
collection
conducted
with
local
government
departments
relevant
organizations
between
2021
2022.
Our
study
found
that
there
significant
spatial
heterogeneity
relationship
or
each
county.
Therefore,
regulation
optimization
should
not
adopt
one-size-fits-all
approach;
rather,
measures

implemented

SDGs.
