Abstract Promoting race‐aware and gender‐aware scholarship is essential for giving substance to social equity research. This review introduction provides an account of one such initiative promote race gender through collaboration between Public Administration Review (PAR), the Consortium Race Gender Scholars (CORGES), introduces PAR Symposium. What do frontline social service providers during client interactions when they lack adequate formal organizational resources to respond clients' needs? To answer this question, Element presents two large-scale qualitative studies of Israeli services.
