Physical understanding and determination of different analytes without the need for advanced additional equipment are highly important, which can be achieved by using stimuli-induced chromic materials. chemical incorporation responsive chromophores into polymers results in fabrication polymers. Chromic electrospun nanofibers prepared electrospinning technique, their stimuli-responsivity is improved due to high surface-to-volume ratio. This Perspective focuses on recent studies developments nanofibers. Within this Perspective, these divided classes photochromic, thermochromic, electrochromic, mechanochromic, halochromic, solvatochromic, hydrochromic, ionochromic according stimuli they respond. In addition, preparation methods, compounds, conditions, response mechanisms, applications will discussed. The main such food packaging sensors, health monitoring anticounterfeiting materials, ink-free rewritable media, smart clothing. Several new strategies also proposed future studies. multiresponsive that combine properties a single system multifunctional merge stimuli-responsive with other functionalities considered future. aims assist researchers scientists development applications, including multimode sensors packaging, shape memory-assisted dual-mode encryption important data.

An environmentally friendly smart ink was developed by incorporating fluorescein into functionalized poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) nanoparticles synthesized using an emulsifier-free emulsion copolymerization approach. The functional comonomers of 2-(dimethylamino)ethyl methacrylate (DMAEMA), acrylamide, hydroxyethyl methacrylate, and glycidyl in 10 wt % with respect to methyl were used obtain the colloidal PMMA nanoparticles. Functional groups latex characterized Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy. Field emission scanning electron microscopy results showed that all have nearly spherical morphologies variations size surface smoothness due presence different comonomers. Ultraviolet–visible fluorescence spectra indicated fluorescein-doped containing DMAEMA comonomer had highest absorbance intensity. In alkaline media, turns a dianion, showing red shift increased UV–vis addition, inductive characteristics tertiary amine result enhancing conjugation molecules increasing intensities. Therefore, formulation applications securing documents fingerprints, encrypting banknotes money, detecting latent crafting anticounterfeiting paper, eventually providing optical detection indication scratches.

Abstract This study explores the impact of incorporating oxyethylene (OE) chains into rhodamine‐based dye molecules for enhancement photophysical properties in context chemical sensing. The introduction OE provides several advantages, including improved water solubility, photostability and resistance to self‐assembled nanoaggregates formation. Despite these, compound with showed poor response (~2‐fold) towards Hg 2+ ions than that dimeric probe (~20 fold) no such substituents. Notably, shows a remarkable three‐fold larger ion compared monomeric compound. intriguing outcome is attributed extended conjugation within structure, which can induce conformational change overall molecule. Moreover, investigates effects end substituents, as electron‐donating (−OMe, response) electron‐withdrawing (−NO 2 , groups, on interaction ions. excellent sensitivity also evident significantly low detection limits (5–8 ppb) real‐life samples. high recovery values (>95 %) sufficient standard deviation (<5%) indicates quantitative analysis achievable using current protocol. Beyond that, we have employed 1 intracellular (HEK293T cells) fluorescence imaging .
