Abstract
Herein,
we
report
an
approach
to
phospha‐xanthenes
from
ortho
‐chalcone
based
organophosphines
and
arynes.
These
reactions
proceeded
through
a
sequential
process
consisting
of
formal
[4+2]
cycloaddition,
arylation,
P−OH
formation
P−C
bond
cleavage.
A
gram‐scale
preparation
chemical
conversion
were
performed
demonstrate
the
synthetic
utility
this
method.
