Delayed luminescence (DF), including phosphorescence and thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF), circularly polarized (CPL) exhibit common broad application prospects in optoelectronic displays, biological imaging, encryption. Thus, the combination of is attracting increasing attention. The encapsulation guest emitters various host matrices to form host-guest systems has been demonstrated be an appealing strategy further enhance and/or modulate their luminescence. Compared with conventional liquid crystals, polymers, supramolecular matrices, porous crystalline frameworks (PCFs) metal-organic (MOFs), covalent-organic (COFs), zeolites hydrogen-bonded organic (HOFs) can not only overcome shortcomings such as flexibility disorder but also achieve ordered guests long-term stability chiral structures, providing new promising platforms for development DF CPL. In this review, we provide a comprehensive critical summary recent progress photochemistry

The synthesis of two three-dimensional coordination frameworks [CdX2(TPA)] (X = Br for 1 and I 2) has been achieved through the assembly tri(pyridine-3-yl)amine (TPA) with cadmium halides. compounds are isostructural, both fabricated from infinite linkage Cd2+ TPA molecules, halide anions serving as μ2-bridging terminally coordinated species. Photoluminescence properties polymers have thoroughly examined, revealing room-temperature phosphorescence unique decay lifetimes. Remarkably, a yellow glow is samples owing to heavy atom effects. A comprehensive structure–property analysis, complemented by theoretical calculations, conducted elucidate mechanisms underlying fluorescence phosphorescence. Furthermore, photochromic behavior Cd–Br-based solid, which based on an electron transfer process, also investigated.

Bimetallic metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) capable of sensing external stimuli will provide more possibilities for further regulating third-order nonlinear optical (NLO) properties. In this work, we synthesized bimetallic MOFs (ZnCu-MOF and ZnCd-MOF) through central metal exchange using a photoresponsive Zn-MOF as precursor. Compared with Zn-MOF, both ZnCu-MOF ZnCd-MOF exhibit significantly enhanced NLO absorption This is mainly attributed to the introduction ions different electron configurations that can adjust bandgap enhance delocalization, thus promoting transfer. Interestingly, show transition from reverse saturation (RSA) (SA) after exposure ultraviolet irradiation, they retain properties directional photogenerated Photoresponsive not only have effect modulation electronic structures but also characteristics photoinduced transfer, exhibiting diversified These findings novel method development multifunctional materials.

Abstract Recently, stimuli‐responsive color/fluorescence dual‐switchable materials have attracted great attention, whereas most of them respond to monostimulus. Therefore, it is essential design two or multi‐stimuli‐responsive and develop their applications. Viologens, which the electric potential, light irradiation, pH, heat, are suitable for construction two‐ materials. Moreover, easily modified chemical structure, tunable electronic properties, excellent electrochemical characteristics can endow viologens with desired dual‐switching behaviors. Herein, novel electro‐ photo‐stimuli responsive color/emission viologen derivatives phen‐Vio[Cl − I ], phen‐Vio[2Cl ] phen‐Vio[2I employing fluorophore 1,10‐phenanthroline as an N‐aryl substituent halogen ions anions designed synthesized. The introduction groups onto skeleton properties under electrical stimulus. While allows both stimuli simultaneously. Multifunctional devices fabricated active exhibit electrochromic/electrofluorochromic photochromic/photofluorochromic performance. Additionally, anti‐counterfeiting applications successfully demonstrated by a commercial printer self‐made ink papers. It believed that this work has important guiding significance development multifunctional devices.
