Z-scheme Zn3In2S6/NiFe2O4 nanocomposites were prepared by electrospinning and hydrothermal methods, their photocathodic protection performance was studied on 304 SS Q235 CS in NaCl solution (3.5 wt.%). The two-dimensional Zn3In2S6 loaded the one-dimensional NiFe2O4 resulted faster electron migration enhanced light absorption capability. Moreover, it had been observed through electrochemical testing that assembly of heterojunctions improves efficacy protection. Following illumination, self-corrosion potentials coupled with decreased 1040 mV 560 mV, photoinduced current densities 1.2 times 3.9 greater than value Zn3In2S6. Furthermore, mechanism for systematically discussed. XPS ESR analysis indicated composites follow path retain stronger reduction oxidation capacity Zn3In2S6/NiFe2O4. Therefore, heterostructures are responsible realization cathodic carbon steel.

In order to improve the conversion and transmission efficiency of photoelectron, core-shell spheroid structure titanium dioxide/cadmium sulfide (TiO2/CdS) composites were synthesized as epoxy-based coating fillers using a simple hydrothermal method. The electrochemical performance photocathodic protection for composite was analyzed by it on Q235 carbon steel surface. results show that possesses significant photoelectrochemical property with photocurrent density 0.0421 A/cm2 corrosion potential -0.724 V. Importantly, modified can extend absorption in visible region effectively separate photoelectron hole pairs synergistically, because CdS be regarded sensitizer introduced into TiO2 form heterojunction system. mechanism is attributed energy difference between Fermi excitation level, which leads system obtaining higher electric field strength at heterostructure interface, thus driving electrons directly surface (Q235 CS).
