An isoreticular metal-organic framework (MOF) series was constructed from nickel or cobalt nodes, phosphonate monoester, and bipyridine linkers. The cobalt-containing MOFs were found to catalyze the dehydrogenative C-H borylation of alkenes under mild conditions. This process selectively generates vinyl boronate without formation alkyl byproducts is insensitive air, enabling large-scale preparation target products with isolated yields over 80%.

Abstract A functionalized heterogeneous Cu‐based metal‐organic framework (Cu‐2D‐MOF) was synthesized through the reaction of Cu(NO 3 ) 2 ⋅ 3H O with 2,3,5,6‐tetrafluoroterephthalic acid and 4,4′‐bipyridine. The material underwent comprehensive characterization using various techniques, including FT‐IR spectroscopy, N physical adsorption, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). Subsequently, catalytic performance Cu‐2D‐MOFs assessed in hydrophosphorylation aerobic oxidative dehydrogenative coupling reactions involving alkynes P−H bonds. catalyst demonstrated remarkable activity both transformations, effectively yielding a wide variety ( E )‐alkenyl‐phosphoryl alkynyl‐phosphoryl compounds, respectively. Notably, incorporation this MOF facilitated phosphorylation to proceed seamlessly, eliminating necessity for supplementary small molecular organic ligands. Furthermore, ease recovery recyclability simple process. Employing systematic approach sequential control experiments, we have delineated potential transformation pathway consequently hypothesized probable mechanism observed transformation.

Tris(pentafluorophenyl)borane B(C6F5)3·H2O is reported as a catalyst for dehydrative amidation of carboxylic acids and amines. This protocol applicable across wide range >35 substrates, including aromatic aliphatic amines acids, resulting in amides ≤92% yields. The scalability the reaction up to 10 mmol, along with synthesis drugs such ibuprofen amide, moclobemide, phenacetin, demonstrates industrial potential our protocol.
