Abstract Cesium lead iodide (CsPbI 3 ) has attracted a great deal of attention as an absorption layer material for perovskite solar cells (PSCs) with high stability and suitable band gap (1.72 eV). In response to the problems defect‐induced nonradiative compounding voltage loss caused by common layer, strategies interfacial engineering, altering crystal equivalence, other modifications involve more complex processes higher fabrication costs. order simplify process save costs, this work omitted electron transport (ETL), while still maintaining power conversion efficiency (PCE). This simulated PSCs CsPbI (electron free) have matched Cu 2 O most hole (HTL) material. By simulating optimizing thickness defect density interface (IDL1, IDL2), determining operating temperature, PCE device can reach 18.8%, which is consistent experimental data. The asymmetric effect obtained in similar previous research reports. provides economical solution high‐performance inorganic cells.
