Abstract Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a common reproductive and metabolic condition in women of childbearing age major cause anovulatory infertility. The pathophysiology PCOS complex. Recent studies have reported that apart from hyperandrogenism, insulin resistance, systemic chronic inflammation, ovarian dysfunction, gut microbiota dysbiosis also involved development may aggravate inflammation forming vicious cycle. As naturally occurring plant secondary metabolites, polyphenols been demonstrated to anticancer, antibacterial, vasodilator, analgesic properties, mechanistically creating putative bioactive, low-molecular-weight metabolites the human gut. Here, we summarize role demonstrate ability different - including anthocyanin, catechins, resveratrol regulate microbes alleviate thus providing new insights assist novel therapeutic strategies treat with PCOS.

A significant obstacle to avoiding chronic illnesses in people worldwide is the increasing development of obesity. They are supported by economic expansion, mechanized transportation, a rise sedentary behavior, and switch from wholesome, healthy diet processed foods high-calorie meals, including fast food sugary drinks. Many developed or emerging countries have seen prevalence obesity their populations increase twice over. Therefore, it must now be treated as disease concern. Since intimately linked diabetes hypertension hemodynamic, structural, histological renal alterations, has been identified one major causes kidney (CKD). Type 2 mellitus (Type-2 DM) directly related lack insulin sensitivity intensifies effects angiotensin-II, aggravates proteinuria, triggers production inflammatory cytokines, which contribute pathophysiological mechanism underlying damage. These conditions include glomerular hyperfiltration, hypertrophy, hypercellularity, widening mesangial regions. days, serious issue that needs addressed. If child obese birth, then negative consequences on kidneys also occur childhood. Although simple prevent, recommended children encouraged play outside, eat decent, nutritious, balanced diet, consume little possible. Obesity problem affects earliest years life. We need public awareness so middle consider health well-being priority. aware subsequent issues even mild might cause, such CKD, cardiac illnesses, hypertension, diabetes, etc. looked up following terms PubMed, Medline, Google: "obesity," "CKD," "Diabetes," "Hypertension," "Developmental Programming/developmental origins (DOHaD)," "Renal programming" describe relationship between CKD risk factor this review.

Sustainable extraction processes based on alternative solvents to recover bioactive compounds of different raw materials have been highlighted as excellent alternatives supply the needs society towards a bioeconomy strategy. Little is known about safety and biological effect extracted by these processes. In this work, carotenoids from Bactris gasipaes wastes obtained an IL-based process were investigated in terms safety, anti-inflammatory and, antioxidant activity high-fat-diet animal model kidney. Wistar rats supplemented or not with IL VOS. The animals had lower weight than control high-fat diets. carotenoids, group improved compared Also, HFD-VOS showed moderate-severe injuries Then, ILs could represent novel tool for natural pigments safely applied food industry.

Kidney disease (KD) is a life-threatening characterized by high morbidity and mortality in clinical settings, which can be caused many reasons, the incidence increases with age. However, supportive therapy kidney transplantation still have limitations alleviating KD progression. Recently, mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) shown great potential repairing injury through their multidirectional differentiation self-renewal ability. Of note, MSCs serve as safe effective therapeutic strategy for treating preclinical trials. Functionally, ameliorate progression regulating immune response, renal tubular cell apoptosis, epithelial–mesenchymal transition, oxidative stress, angiogenesis, so on. In addition, exhibit remarkable efficacy both acute (AKI) chronic (CKD) paracrine mechanisms. this review, we outline biological characteristics of MSCs, discuss mechanisms MSCs-based KD, summarize completed ongoing trials, well analyze new strategies, aiming to provide ideas approaches experiments trials KD.
