Background
The
stigmatization
of
addiction
has
been
identified
as
a
barrier
to
treatment-seeking
among
individuals
with
substance
use
concerns.
Although
some
evidence
exists
that
beliefs
in
different
models
(MOAs)
are
associated
stigma,
the
research
is
limited

Floods

unprecedented
intensity

frequency

impacts
floods
on
hospitalization
remains
limited.
Here
we
collected
daily
counts
during
2000-2019
from
747
communities
in
Australia,
Brazil,
Canada,
Chile,
New
Zealand,
Taiwan,
Thailand
Vietnam.

community,
flooded
days
were
defined
as
start
dates
to
end
flood
events.
Lag-response
associations
between
day
risks
estimated
for
community
using
a
quasi-Poisson
regression
model
with
distributed
lag
nonlinear
function.
The
community-specific
estimates
then
pooled
random-effects
meta-analysis.
Based
estimates,
attributable
fractions
hospitalizations
due
calculated.
We
found
that
increased
persisted

after
exposure,
