Heterogeneous catalysts promoting efficient production of reactive species and dynamically stabilized electron transfer mechanisms for peroxomonosulfates (PMS) still lack systematic investigation. Herein, a more stable magnetic layered double oxides (CFLDO/N‐C), was designed using self‐polymerization high temperature carbonization dopamine. The CFLDO/N‐C/PMS system effectively activated PMS to remove 99% ( k = 0.737 min −1 ) tetracycline (TC) within 10 min. exhibited favorable resistance inorganic anions natural organics, as well satisfactory suitability multiple pollutants. properties the catalyst facilitated separation from liquid phase, resulting in excellent reproducibility reducing leaching metal ions. An electronic bridge constructed between cobalt (the active platform catalyst) PMS, inducing break O–O bond generate species. combination static analysis dynamic evolution confirmed effective adsorption on surface strong radical‐assisted process. Eventually, we further identified sites where attacked TC evaluated toxicity intermediates. These findings offer innovative insights into rapid degradation pollutants achieved by transition metals SR‐AOPs its mechanistic elaboration.

Abstract Crystal violet (CV), a widely used dye in paints and textiles, poses significant environmental threat due to its non-biodegradable nature. A modified slag-based geopolymer has been developed address this issue by incorporating raw moringa seed powder (MSP), an agricultural waste. The geopolymers (SM1, SM2, SM3) were created adding different percentages of MSP (0.2%, 0.6%, 1% weight) ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBFS), using sodium silicate 10 M hydroxide as alkali activators. This combination enhances the geopolymer’s mechanical adsorbent properties, making it more effective for CV removal. composites analyzed X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Their properties evaluated conducting compressive strength total porosity tests. Pore structure analysis was performed nitrogen adsorption desorption techniques, point zero charges determined. Additionally, batch experiments carried out investigate dye, employing two isotherm models kinetic analysis. SM1 mix, which is containing 0.2% MSP, exhibited highest at 73 MPa after 180 days, representing 25.8% improvement compared control mix (100% slag). Furthermore, mixes showed greater activity toward crystal with SM3 achieving capacity up 322.58 mg/g. study demonstrates that capacity. indicates positive impact on composite’s surface highlights benefits utilizing industrial waste wastewater treatment.

Abstract Metal oxides derived from metal–organic frameworks have received considerable attention for water treatment. Herein, MIL-68 (In)–derived rod-like carbon (C) and nitrogen (N) codoped In 2 O 3 –modified GdFeO (CN–InO/GdF) Z-scheme heterostructures were rationally constructed through simple pyrolysis a wet-chemical route. The synthesized CN–InO/GdF catalysts characterized using several physicochemical techniques. Moreover, the obtained exhibited excellent photocatalytic performance toward tetracycline (TC) degradation. Impressively, optimized CN–InO/GdF-3 heterostructure catalyst displayed boosted TC removal efficiency of 99.06% within 60 min irradiation, which was 7.1 9.7 times higher than those bare CN–InO , respectively. remarkably enhanced photoactivity principally attributed to synergistically combined interfaces hindering recombination photoinduced carriers, maintained redox capacity via spatial charge transfer. Finally, tentative degradation mechanism determined on basis density functional theory calculations intermediates analysis. This work elucidated design highly efficient various applications.

The colored discharges from certain tanning industries into aquatic environments are too heavy with violet crystal; these have recently become a significant environmental problem. objective of this work is to find an effective method stop the propagation micropollutants in water. Although various treatment techniques been tested, they often ineffective treating micropollutants. This study focuses on optimizing parameters involved adsorption process crystal (CV) using crude chitin (RC). It was found that mass 0.08 g RC can effectively retain CV. Modeling experimental results indicated kinetics CV onto raw follows pseudo-second-order at temperatures studied, and intra-particle diffusion not only rate controlling step. After 80 minutes contact, saturation surface obtained. Freundlich model describes isotherms. adsorbed quantities increase when pH goes 4 12. thermodynamic showed spontaneous (ΔG° < 0) endothermic (ΔH° > 0). value pHpzc located = 8.4. Characterization by FTIR, XRD, DTA/TGA SEM/EDS before after contact shed light nature interactions between RC.
