In this paper, planar chiral helicenes based on [2.2]paracyclophane PCPH5 acted as both inducers and energy donors to construct the circularly polarized luminescence (CPL)-active ternary cholesteric liquid crystals (T-N*-LCs) in a commercial nematic crystal (SLC1717, N-LCs) medium. Induced red CPL emission acceptor of achiral polymer DTBTF8 could be successfully promoted by intermolecular Förster resonance transfer mechanism. The resulting T-N*-LCs can generate intensive signals with glum up +0.70/–0.67. Interestingly, kind "on–off" switching manipulated applied direct current electric field.

It is noteworthy that cholesteric liquid crystal (CLC) platforms have been witnessed in high-performance circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) behaviors through the highly organized chiral co-assembled arrangement of achiral dyes. However, most CPL-active design strategies are closely relative to helix co-assembly structure CLC rather than Herein, we developed an intriguing regulation strategy for materials. They were regulated using orientational order parameter (SF ) dichroic dyes as incisive probe degree media. The I-shaped phenothiazine derivative PHECN dye =0.30) emitted a strong CPL signal (|glum |=0.47). In contrast, T-shaped (PHEBen) =0.09) showed weak circular polarization level |=0.07) at similar textures. Most interestingly, this kind with higher SF could greatly improve contrast ratio (Δglum =0.47) and emission intensity (ΔFL=46.0 %) direct-current electric field compared PHEBen =0.07 ΔFL=1.0 CLC. This work demonstrates induced can be mediated dye, which will open new avenue developing excellent display

Abstract Recently, extensive works have focused on increasing the dissymmetry factors ( g lum ) of various circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) materials, which is one most important for future applications CPL. Herein, we designed a chiral co‐assembled liquid crystal polymer (LCP) PTZ@ R/S ‐PB2 , was prepared by binary co‐polymer doped with achiral phenothiazine derivation dye PTZ ). For comparison, ternary co‐polymerized LCP ‐PT synthesized co‐polymerizing mesogenic monomer, monomer and emissive monomer. Both showed aggregation‐induced emission (AIE) properties. Interestingly, CPL signals both were reversed amplified after thermal annealing treatment. The | values up to 0.13 at 32 nm thickness, 5.4 times that (| |=0.024). This due could form more orderly co‐assembly structures. Noticeably, film thickness further improve value, maximum be enhanced +0.91/−0.82 220 thickness.

Currently, the improvement in processing capacity of traditional processors considerably lags behind demands real-time image caused by advancement photodetectors and widespread deployment high-definition sensors. Therefore, achieving at sensor level has become a prominent research domain field photodetector technology. This goal underscores need for with enhanced multifunctional integration capabilities than can perform computations using optical or electrical signals. In this study, we employ an innovative p-type semiconductor GaTe0.5Se0.5 to construct polarization-sensitive wide-spectral photodetector. Leveraging photoresponse, realize three-band imaging within wavelength range 390–810 nm. Furthermore, convolutional is enabled configuring appropriate convolution kernels based on photocurrents. The design GaTe0.5Se0.5-based represents notable contribution perception processing.
