RGO-CdTe composite was synthesized using a straightforward, easy-to-realize, one-pot solvothermal technique. The characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), Brunauer-Emmett-Teller method (BET), Raman spectra, UV-Vis absorption, and photoluminescence measurement. exhibited 83.6% photocatalytic degradation efficiency for the aqueous tetracycline (TC) antibiotic solution apparent quantum yield (AQY) same as high 22.29% which is 2.63 times higher than that of CdTe. scavenger investigation demonstrated although hole acts leading active species, despite that, superoxide hydroxyl radicals have also played crucial roles. initial pH-dependent performance measured. zeta potential at different pH values evaluated to establish towards TC pH. recycling experiment depicts only 10% declines after 5 recycle use photocatalyst. An efficient photocurrent generation in thin film device has been observed. Graphene oxide-based nickel-iron superparamagnetic nanoadsorbent (GO/Ni-Fe) was synthesized from electronic waste to effectively remove doxycycline (DXC) in aqueous media. The GO/Ni-Fe has been characterized using a number of instrumental techniques, including X-ray diffractometer, Zeta potential, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, elemental analyzer, vibrating sample magnetometer, transmission electron microscopy, energy dispersive x-ray, and photoelectron spectroscopy. These techniques showed that (Ni-F) nanoparticles with an average size 4.26 nm were successfully fabricated on GO surfaces. batch experiments conducted under different conditions, contact time, adsorption dosage, pH, concentration, temperature, determine the optimal conditions process. maximum (90% removal) established within 20 min, while adsorbent dose only 0.1 g/L at pH 5. process best fitted pseudo-second-order model, which suggests interaction is mainly controlled by chemisorption This may be due hydrogen bonding as well electrostatic π-π between adsorbates adsorbents. isotherm data Langmuir models capacity 13.02 mg g−1 25°C indicating monolayer heterogeneous surfaces interaction. properties can easily separated external magnetic field regenerated methanol washing. findings unambiguously demonstrated magnetically separable nanoadsorbents could good choice DXC wastewater sources.
