This study presents a targeted impedimetric immunosensor for the detection of procalcitonin (PCT), biomarker associated with SEPSIS. The was operated based on interaction between PCT antibody (anti‐PCT) and antigen, utilizing graphene quantum dot (GQD)‐modified carbon screen‐printed electrode (SPCE). Herein, GQDs, known their large surface area excellent electrical conductivity, served as matrix immobilizing anti‐PCT, thereby enhancing electrochemical signal. Following immobilization anti‐PCT onto GQD@SPCE, antigen monitored by using impedance spectroscopy. Experimental parameters were optimized, analytical characteristics extensively evaluated. developed demonstrated linear range 0.1–10 ng/mL PCT, limit 0.01 quantification 0.03 ng/mL. Finally, GQD‐based applied to low‐ high‐level original control serum samples selected kit very promising recovery values obtained.

Abstract In the present study, synthesized graphene oxide and oxide‐montmorillonite‐chitosan (GO‐Mt‐Chitosan) composites were employed for removal of two commonly used textile dyes: acid orange 10 (AO10) malachite green oxalate (MG oxalate). The structural characteristics adsorbent analyzed using X‐ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, field emission scanning electron microscopy. Various key parameters such as pH, contact time, initial dye concentration, temperature, dose explored to optimize adsorption process. composite demonstrated that maximum capacity GO was 345 mg/g MG 32 AO10 dye, whereas in case GO‐Mt‐Chitosan, it 945 81 dye. process followed Langmuir isotherm model pseudo‐second‐order kinetic model, indicating favorable chemical interactions monolayer dyes onto GO‐Mt‐Chitosan composite. thermodynamic studies confirmed exothermic spontaneous nature These results is a promising material efficiently removing from contaminated water bodies, offering both sustainable reusability economic viability wastewater treatment applications.
