Background: Reports of escalated discrimination experiences among Asian American and Native Hawaiian Pacific Islanders (AANHPI) continue. Methods: Using the original follow-up surveys COVID-19 Effects on Mental Physical Health AAPI (Asian Islanders) Survey Study (COMPASS I COMPASS II) (n = 3177), we examined changes over approximately a 1-year period in attributable to being factors associated with worse mental health outcomes. Results: Experiences remained high II 60.6% (of participants (compared 60.2% same people I) reporting one or more experiences, 28.6% were modest but significant increase odds health: adjusted OR 1.02 (95% CI 1.01–1.04). Being younger, Hawaiian/Pacific Islander Hmong descent (relative Indian), having spent 50% less their lifetime US (vs. born), significantly health.
