Gas hydrates have been proposed as a potential technology for number of applications, such separation gas mixtures, CO2 capture, transportation, and sequestration, methane storage transport, seawater desalination. Most these applications will benefit from reduced induction time hydrate nucleation, enhanced growth rate, maximum water-to-hydrate conversion. The addition surfactants to the gas–water system serves this purpose in very effective manner. This review focuses on different that were utilized formation studies; insights provided possible mechanisms action through which affect kinetics. A thorough analysis existing literature suggests rate nucleation kinetics may not be directly linked micelle formation. Conversely, surface tension presence only enhances mass transfer but also changes morphology formation, turn interactions faster rate.

Micelles as colloidal suspension have attracted considerable attention due to their potential use for both cancer diagnosis and therapy. These structures proven ability deliver poorly water-soluble anticancer drugs, improve drug stability, good penetration site-specificity, leading enhance therapeutic efficacy. are composed of hydrophobic hydrophilic components assembled into nanosized spherical, ellipsoid, cylindrical, or unilamellar structures. For simple formation, they widely studied, either by using opposite polymers attachment consisting two more block copolymers, fatty acid molecules that can modify themselves in a rounded shape. Recently, hybrid responsive stimuli nanomicelles formed integration with metal nanoparticles such silver, gold, iron oxide inside micelles combination lipids single composite. Abstract The need for efficient demulsification process to treat emulsions in the petroleum industry is well acknowledged. For decades, numerous researches have been conducted examine mechanisms of emulsification and demulsification. Untreated emulsion has both technical commercial implications industry, especially terms treatment facilities, refining transportation. Effective needed ensure optimum production hydrocarbons. present paper review reported works on formation emulsions, treatments, characteristics fit-for-purpose demulsifiers as research trends treatment. Crude oils are naturally combined with natural surfactants having high tendency form stable emulsion. must be treated meet industrial requirements since crudes a volume less value. Therefore, fundamental studies surfactants, which contribute stability, analyzed effective separation into oil water. This would involve assessment various right formulation

In response to increasing natural surfactant demand and environmental concerns, plant-based surfactants have been replacing synthetic ones. Saponins belong a class of plant metabolites with properties that are widely distributed in nature. They eco-friendly because their origin biodegradable. To date, many saponins investigated for surface activity. An overview particular focus on surface-active is presented this article. For purpose, works published the past few decades, which report better relevant than ones, were extensively studied. The investigations potential application also documented. Moreover, some biological activities such as antimicrobial activity, antidiabetic adjuvant potentials, anticancer others reported. Plants rich nature, offering great replacement toxic variety modern commercial products these exhibit excellent activities. New opportunities challenges associated development saponin-based formulations future discussed detail.
