In addition to cancer and diabetes, inflammatory ROS-related diseases represent one of the major health problems worldwide. Currently, several synthetic drugs are used reduce oxidative stress; nevertheless, these approaches often have side effects. Therefore, overcome issues, search for alternative therapies has gained importance in recent times. Natural bioactive compounds represented, they still do, an important source with high therapeutic efficacy. “synthetic” era, terrestrial aquatic photosynthetic organisms been shown be essential natural compounds, some which might play a leading role pharmaceutical drug development. Marine constitute nearly half worldwide biodiversity. marine environment, algae, seaweeds, seagrasses first reported sources products discovering novel pharmacophores. The algal potential antioxidant anticancer (through modulation cell cycle, metastasis, apoptosis) compounds. Secondary metabolites Algae, such as phenolic acids, flavonoids, tannins, could great implications against diseases. this context, review focuses on diversity functional extracted from algae their beneficial effects fighting cancer,

The gut microbiota has emerged as an important contributor to the immune system and it is believed be regulated by dietary fiber. In this study, therefore, immunomodulatory modulatory effects of polysaccharides from bee collected pollen Chinese wolfberry (WBPPS) in cyclophosphamide (CTX)-treated mice were investigated. results showed that WBPPS could enhance thymus spleen indices promote production immune-related cytokines (IgA, TNF-α, TGF-β1 IL-10) serum CTX-treated mice. addition, significantly improve hepatic function oxidative stress via increasing levels GSH, SOD CAT decreasing ALT MDA. More importantly, remarkably increased relative abundances Family_XIII, Ruminococcaceae Saccharimonadaceae while decreased Tannerellaceae, Marinifilaceae Rikenellaceae, which closely associated with traits. Overall, might developed a promising immunomodulator functional foods.

Caulerpa lentillifera is a type of green seaweed widely consumed as fresh vegetable, specifically in Southeast Asia. Interestingly, this has recently gained popularity the food sector. Over last two decades, many studies have reported that C. rich polyunsaturated fatty acids, minerals, vitamins, and bioactive compounds contribute health benefits. On other hand, there currently hardly any article dedicated to regarding nutritional composition recent advancements its potential Hence, study will summarise findings on content compile discovered beneficial properties throughout past decade. From data compiled review paper, it can be concluded nutrient phytochemical profile differs from one region another depending various external factors. As result, paper offer researchers groundwork develop products based lentillifera. The authors are hopeful more systematic could done future currently, existing still scarce.
