Abstract Acetaminophen, also known as paracetamol (APAP), is a highly utilized pharmaceutical agent on global scale, particularly in the field of pediatrics. Regrettably, an overdose APAP, resulting from predominant oxidation, has potential to trigger acute liver injury. The study’s goal was find easy, accurate, and selective way measure N -acetyl para benzoquinone imine (NAPQI) (an APAP metabolite that harmful), -acetyl- l -cysteine (NAC) antidote). Two different chromatographic methods were used. HPTLC method, which used silica gel 60 F 254 stationary phase developing liquid made up methanol, ethyl acetate, glacial acetic acid (8:2:0.2, v/v/v) UV detection at nm. HPLC method developed using mobile consisting water, formic proportion (70:30:0.15, v/v/v). approach C 18 column. Analytes quantification established utilizing detector operating wavelength present make it possible amount plasma samples. When comes pharmacokinetics or medication levels children’s plasma, for example, this may be very helpful. current can quantify NAPQI, helpful figuring out drug concentrations individuals with intoxication diagnoses. Additionally, approaches estimate NAC antidote; result, study complete because analyse drug, toxic metabolite, antidote one analytical run. Using innovative blue applicability grade index software, measures practicality procedures, both methodologies compared reported methods. achievement eco-friendliness profile designed procedures assessed. Both techniques passed ICH validation tests.
