This study explores sustainable methods for recycling lithium-ion battery (LIB) materials, with the goal of tackling issues resource depletion and environmental pollution linked to LIB production end-of-life management. An analysis composition shows that graphite (30%), nickel (20%), lithium (15%), cobalt (10%) are main components LIBs. emphasizes economic potential reclaim these valuable materials. Recovery efficiency assessments show different levels success, having highest recovery at 95%, followed by 90%, aluminum 85%. The use of immobilized alcohol dehydrogenases (ADHs) offers numerous advantages, especially in the reaction conditions required by industrial applications. Looking for more efficient and cost-effective methods ADH immobilization, this study we explored silica-based supports as an alternative to functionalized polymeric resins.
