Polyethyleneimine-based porous composites have been prepared by ring-opening polymerization of 2,2-bishydroxymethylbutanol-tris[3-(1-aziridinyl)propionate] (3AZ), a tri-aziridine compound, in water, the presence cyclodextrins (CDs), i.e., α-CD, γ-CD, methyl-β-cyclodextrin (Me-β-CD), monoacetyl-β-cyclodextrin (Ac-β-CD), and hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin (HP-β-CD). The corresponding 3AZ-CD polymer were successfully obtained most cases under wide range CD concentrations, 5–20 wt%, reaction temperatures, 20–60 °C. system Ac-β-CD preferentially yielded gels. composed connected particles with sizes order 10−9 m. particle decreased an increase concentration. Young’s moduli tended to bulk density. Me-β-CD HP-β-CD effectively adsorbed phenolphthalein solution. adsorption value increased increasing content rose more than 600 mg/g composite.

In this paper, we report the synthesis of a multi-template molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) to target and extract naproxen, ibuprofen, diclofenac, emtricitabine, tenofovir disoproxil, efavirenz from wastewater bodies. A bulk polymerization procedure was used synthesize MIP non-imprinted (NIP). The specific recognition sites for each were obtained through removal targeted compounds. interaction antiretroviral drugs (ARVs) non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAIDs) compounds with studied under various conditions such as pH, mass, concentration, time factors. results demonstrated optimum 55 mg MIP, pH 7.0, concentration 5 L−1, contact 10 min. For every compound studied, extraction efficiencies ARVs NSAIDs in aqueous solutions >96%. adsorption capacity >0.91 mg·g−1. Adsorption obeys second-order rate, Freundlich model explains isotherm data. This study that synthesized has huge potential be employed environment well drug purification or recovery processes.

ABSTRACT The ineffectiveness of traditional wastewater treatment procedures to completely remove them results in their release into the environment. There is a pressing need pharmaceuticals effectively using different methods. Using affordable technologies while maintaining standards for health and safety one main problems industry. In this study, cost effective highly selective molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) was combined with silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) capped platanus acerifolia (PL) moringa oleifera (MO) removal sulfamethoxazole, nevirapine ibuprofen wastewater. Moreover, study focused on adsorption parameters, including temperature, pH, adsorbent dosage, adsorbate concentration, contact time. transmission electron microscopy revealed that MO/PL‐AgNPs MO/PL‐nanoMIPs are nanosized spherical. XRD confirmed formation AgNPs onto surface. Adsorption isotherms fitted linear Langmuir model. However, high Q max values were obtained compared MO/PL‐AgNPs. pseudosecond order second‐order kinetic model best MO/PL‐nanoMIPs, thermodynamics process spontaneous endothermic. findings first time efficiency selected target
