Karbon noktalar (KN), boyutları 10 nm’den küçük, suda çözünme özelliği yüksek, biyo-uyumluluğu gelişmiş, geniş optik özelliklere ve düşük toksisiteye sahip, karbon nanomateryal sınıfının yeni bir üyesidir. KN, bahsi geçen özelliklerinin yanında; çevre dostu, kolay maliyetli sentez yöntemleri, uygulanabilirliği gibi sebeplerden dolayı gıda güvenliğini alanında erken tespit hususunda geleneksel analiz yöntemleri diğer floresan nanomateryaller kullanılarak yapılan analizlere göre adım öndedir. Yapılan araştırmalar güvenliği kapsamında analizlerde KN kullanımının, analitlerin hassas yüksek seçicilikte edilebildiğini ortaya koymuştur. Bu derlemede, kalıntı kontaminantların tespitinde ambalajında kullanılmasına yönelik incelenmiştir.

Abstract Food analysis is significantly important in monitoring food quality and safety for human health. Traditional methods detection mainly rely on benchtop instruments require a certain amount of time, which promotes the development portable sensors. Portable sensing own many advantages over traditional techniques such as flexibility accessibility diverse environments, real‐time monitoring, cost‐effectiveness, rapid deployment. This review focuses approaches based carbon dots (CDs) analysis. CDs are zero‐dimensional carbon‐based material with size less than 10 nm. In manner sensing, exhibit rich functional groups, low biotoxicity, good biocompatibility, excellent optical properties. Furthermore, there synthesis using various precursor materials. The incorporation into science engineering enhancing control risk assessment shows promising prospects.

Abstract Determination of the histamine in food is a crucial aspect regarding its safety issue. The present study reported preparation copper-doped carbon dots (Cu-CDs) through pyrolysis method and further applied them for sensitive detection via UV–vis absorption photoluminescence (PL) techniques. Several characterizations, including X-ray diffraction, Raman, Infrared, spectra, confirmed this nanomaterial’s well-formed Cu-CDs all-optical properties. While Photoluminescence spectra perform regular degradation emission, also showed increasing peaks at 270 nm following enhancement concentration introduced to Cu-CDs. analytical parameters were next used evaluate performance, where good accuracy selectivity detecting with LOD LOQ values as low 19.20 64 mg l −1 , respectively. It possessed valuable recovery rate ranging from 89%–106%. Even though Spectrophotometry successfully detected histamine, maintained their properties, offering more distinct advantages, cost, simplicity, high sensitivity,
