Abstract Inspired by the emerging potential of photoluminescent hydrogels, this work unlocks new avenues for advanced biosensing, bioimaging, and drug delivery applications. Carbon quantum dots (CDs) are deemed particularly promising among various optical dyes, enhancing polymeric networks with superior physical chemical properties. This study presents synthesis CDs derived from Prunella vulgaris , a natural plant resource, through single‐step hydrothermal process, followed their uniform integration into hydrogel matrices via an in situ free radical graft polymerization. The resulting CD‐integrated hydrogels exhibit multifunctionality biomedical applications, featuring diffusion‐controlled release mechanism, permit concurrent therapeutic agents, enabling real‐time monitoring over 32 h. In addition, these function as broad‐range pH sensor (pH 3–11), provide robust ultraviolet (UV) shielding, demonstrate nanozyme‐like peroxidase activity. Critically, biocompatibility tests confirm non‐cytotoxicity toward fibroblast cells, establishing candidates diverse These include wound dressings that monitor healing process detect infection sensing, promote nanozymatic activity, all while maintaining moist microenvironment. exceptional suitability smart delivery, effective UV‐blocking, innovative platforms vivo sensing bioimaging.

Abstract Researchers have found that mutations in the BRCA gene associated with breast cancer a 40–50% chance of being high risk for hereditary (BC). Therefore, detecting BRCA1 is crucial genetic analysis, early detection, and clinical treatment BC. Traditional detection methods include high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), single-strand conformation polymorphism assays (SSCP), PCR, real-time DNA sequencing. However, these are limited by cost, analysis time, complexity. it necessary to develop an ultrasensitive, fast, low-cost, simple method detection. In recent years, various BC biosensing strategies been investigated, including optical, electrical, electrochemical, mechanical biosensing. particular, sensitivity short times electrochemical biosensors make them suitable recognizing biomarkers. Additionally, can be increased incorporating nanomaterials. this regard, main focus present study introduction common diagnosing BRCA-1/2 genes. addition introducing as efficient tool, also discusses latest most significant developed gene.

Apigenin (API) possesses excellent antitumor properties but its limited water solubility and low bioavailability restrict therapeutic impact. Thus, a suitable delivery system is needed to overcome these limitations improve the efficiency. Poly (lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA) copolymer extensively utilized in drug delivery. Hyaluronic acid (HA) major extracellular matrix component can specifically bind CD44 on colon cancer cells. Herein, we aimed prepare receptor-selective HA-coated PLGA nanoparticles (HA-PLGA-API-NPs) for cancers with high expression of CD44; chitosan (CS) was introduced into as an intermediate, simultaneously binding HA through electrostatic interaction facilitate tighter connection between them. API encapsulated obtain PLGA-API-NPs, which were then sequentially coated CS form HA-PLGA-API-NPs. HA-PLGA-API-NPs had stronger sustained-release capability.
