Abstract
Accurate
assessment
of
food
freshness
is
critical
to
maintaining
human
health.
However,
the
complex
environment
usually
leads
false‐positive
measurements
result.
Therefore,
development
sensing
platforms
with
self‐calibration
for
accurate
detection
in
environments
essential.
Here,
using
green
fluorescence‐emitting
FITC‐ene
and
red
DBA‐ene‐Eu
3+
as
fluorescent
units,
polymeric
materials
P1‐P4
excitation
wavelength‐dependent
(254
365
nm,
matched
standard
UV
lamp)
emission
are
prepared.
responded
rapidly
biogenic
amines
(BAs).
Among
them,
P3
exhibits
widest
linear
range,
most
noticeable
fluorescence
color
change
(from
orange‐red
yellow‐green)
under
254
nm
enhanced
excitation.
The
changes
P3‐prepared
labels
at
different
wavelengths
can
be
utilized
evaluate
food's
freshness.
Furthermore,
by
a
smartphone
read
Red/Green/Blue
values
labels,
total
volatile
basic
nitrogen
(TVBN)
output
quantitatively
freshness,
TVBN
mutual
calibration
improve
accuracy
estimation
results.
