Besides them it was obtained 2, 2', 3, 3'-tetrabromo-4, 4', 5, 5'-tetrahydroxydiphenylmethane, 3-dibromo-p-hydroxybenzyl methyl ether (methyl lanosol), dipotassium 2,3-dibromo-5-hydroxybenzyl 1',4-disulfate, 24-methylenecolest-5-en-3-beta-ol alpha-D-mannopyranosyl-(1->2')-glycerate (digeneaside). The structures were determined by analysis of spectroscopic data (IR, NMR MS) comparison with literature. 13CNMR for 2,3-dibromo-5hydroxybenzyl-1',4-disulfate described here first time. present study also suggests a mild method to isolate purify compounds.

The aim of the present work was to identify spore-forming Gram-positive Bacillus strains isolated from oceanic waters adjacent Cuba and establish a possible relationship between their distribution metabolic activity isolates. Total protein patterns, derived SDS-PAGE, were used build non-rooted dendrogram where appeared clustered in three nodes. No direct observed node particular species. In contrast, according physical chemical characteristics zones, I different II III, since it comprises farthest zones coast, poorer nutrients. On other hand, nodes III mainly collect nutrient organic matter-enriched zones. Associating clustering with activities, found that ratio: number positive activities/strain 2.3, followed by ratio 3.3, finally exhibiting equal 3.7. This could suggest total patterns bacteria belonging same specie, but coming environments degree richness, be an indicator capacities these microorganisms adapt live environments.
