To compare different doses osocimab with enoxaparin and apixaban in patients who have undergone knee arthroplasty.

Design, Setting, Participants

Randomized, open-label, adjudicator-blinded, phase 2 noninferiority trial observer blinding doses, conducted at 54 hospitals 13 countries. Adult undergoing unilateral arthroplasty were randomized from October 2017 through August 2018 followed up until January 2019.

Antibody-dependent enhancement (ADE) has been associated with severe disease outcomes in several viral infections, including respiratory infections. In vitro and vivo studies showed that antibody-response to SARS-CoV MERS-CoV could exacerbate infection via ADE. Recently SARS CoV-2, the structural analysis shows a risk of severity This phenomenon is partially attributed non-neutralizing antibodies or at sub-neutralizing levels.
