Abstract This study aims to investigate the potential for enhancing financial contributions nature conservation and/or environment protection contributed by citizens private sector in Vietnam. Specifically, empirically examines antecedents of utilization patterns and contribution city dwellers public national parks. We introduce use a novel CBMM analytic method (Bayesian mindsponge mindspongeconomics combined with Culture Tower) analyze dataset 535 Vietnamese urban residents surveyed late 2020. Empirical results demonstrate that more frequently individuals visit parks, likely they are contribute financially projects parks as whole. In addition, having trees house positively correlates donations park projects, while intention next 12 months encourages planting These suggest improved environmental literacy connectedness can help encourage act collectively alleviate burden dealing issues. also found increased frequency bushmeat consumption impedes people’s support implying consumer culture might be hindrance efforts engage public. Based on findings, this offers not only key solution burdens but paves way nurture foster associated closer sustainable future years come.

Concern about energy depletion has risen because of industrialization and consumerism, pushing a transition from fossil fuels to renewable sources. To this end, every group within society, especially the youth, should be made responsible for confronting and/or mitigating environmental problems. This study advances understanding young adults’ intentions learn conservation its influencing factors, as well contributes literature on management culture development. We used systematic random sample technique conduct large-scale online survey with 1454 students 48 different Vietnamese universities employed Bayesian regression model analyze data. The initial research indicates that adults are highly concerned environment, but more work done turn perceptions into actions. majority respondents—nearly 83%—want increase their energy-saving knowledge, around 50% interested in enrolling an course. Their decision regarding participation course is largely influenced by perception income. Women were inclined take courses, people who lived rural areas had stronger desire knowledge. Our various policy implications promoting transformation nurturing cultures associated education improvement Vietnam beyond.

As one of the world’s fastest-growing economies, Vietnam is tackling environmental pollution, particularly plastic waste. This study contributes to literature on culture and practical solutions by better understanding households’ behaviours motivations for (i) sorting waste, (ii) contributing fund (iii) relocating. The questionnaire-based interview method was used randomly collect information from 730 households in 25 provinces during February 2022. Bayesian regression models, coupled with mindsponge mechanism, were applied analyse data. results showed that people’s strategies responses waste pollution vary: 38.63% respondents at home, 74.25% agreed contribute fund, 23.56% had a plan relocate living place. intentions driven several structural contextual factors such as age household head, income, care about environment, perceived effects polluted More importantly, communication robust variable decisions, which suggested would help increase awareness real actions reducing ultimately improving environment. These findings will benefit ongoing green economy, circular growth transition toward more sustainable development, developing fast-population-growing countries.

All biological products obtained from forests other than timber are considered non-timber forest (NTFPs). NTFPs production levels in Ghana affected by climate change. Over the past years, have adversely prolonged droughts and short rainfall Ghana. In rural areas, where NTFP enhance livelihoods for dwellers, this affects their food security. This study aimed to determine how dwellers perceive impact of annual variability temperature on products. To better understand residents change's effect NTFPs, 732 were interviewed. Household information perceptions regarding changes availability (snails, mushrooms, honey, etc.) recorded using structured semi-structured questionnaires. As a result sharp rise decline rainfall, combined with drought, there has been NTFPS areas country. The respondents reported snails, as well income generated. Conservation plans face multiple obstacles as not yet listed endangered by International Union Nature lack data. Given limited effectiveness current measures, we propose that local actions, community cooperation, and empathetic values can help conserve through integrating modern technologies (e.g. Internet, crowdfunding platforms, social media, AI, etc.) with citizen science. Communicating information community, especially children, must stimulate their thinking imagination about nature, develop curiosity desire protect wildlife, eventually build eco-surplus core mindsets.
