Purpose
This

prevalence

mental
health
characteristics
food
insecure
(FI)
students
at
an
Atlantic
Canadian
University.

63.2%
female),
FI
was
46.6%,
with
higher
rates
for
male,
international,
undergraduate
students,

low-income
families.

Insecure

likely
report
"serious"
psychological
distress,
a
state
'languishing,'
greater
frequency

forms
suicidality,
use
university's
bank
services.
Concomitant
social
issues

companionship,
feeling
left
out
isolated

problems/challenges

peers,
indicating
less
agreement
that
