As Nigeria progresses towards reaching net‐zero emissions by 2060, it is crucial to identify the factors responsible for environmental deterioration and those that enhance ecological well‐being. It equally significant emphasize Nigeria's economy heavily dependent on fossil fuels, which have proven unsustainable environmentally unsafe. a result, this research investigates impact of energy intensity (EINT), renewable consumption (RENC), globalization (GLOX), technological innovation (TINV) carbon dioxide (CO 2 ) in from 1990Q1–2019Q4. The methods employed include Quantile–on–Quantile (QQ) non–parametric causality. QQ method reveals EINT has both positive negative impacts CO , varying magnitude 3 −5. Higher quantiles RENC tend influence positively, whereas lower quantile impact. Negative shocks GLOX less impact, with maximum −1 at upper . In contrast, seem stronger vary magnitude. TINV across all quantiles. addition, causality observed upper, middle This study suggests policymakers should implement policies encouraging investments green technologies.

Limiting CO2 emissions is crucial for sustainable development, environmental protection, and climate change mitigation, ensuring a more resilient cleaner future. Prioritizing urbanization renewable energy, energy efficiency vital achieving this prosperous As result, we adopt the Fourier testing approach stationary, cointegration, estimator, causality, to scrutinize role of efficiency, on in Finland over period between 1990 2020, controlling economic growth trade openness. The empirical analysis ARDL estimator establishes that measures such as gas oil exhibit an adverse effect emissions, so mitigates emissions. Similarly, study also found reduce Conversely, openness induce Additionally, Fourier-Toda-Yamamoto method provides robust evidence regarding long-term implications examined factors. Based emphasizes implementing regulatory framework enhance promote adoption, support urban development will be essential strategy global effort attain net-zero target, which offers valuable insights other countries seeking transition towards sources.

Global warming has progressed into a pressing global concern, primarily driven by human activities. To address this issue, it is vital to identify the key drivers of ecological quality and develop effective policies in response. Consequently, study seeks empirically examine causal effect financial globalization, economic growth, policy uncertainty, oil consumption on load capacity factor (LF) Brazil. The analysis utilizes quarterly data spanning from 1990 2021. In pursuit, introduces an array quantile-based methodologies, encompassing quantile ADF, PP, KPSS tests, as well innovative Quantile-on-Quantile Granger Causality (QQGC) approach. QQGC represents notable advancement beyond traditional causality (QGC) methods, accounts for conditional distribution dependent independent variables. This bridges critical gap existing literature introducing capture influence regressors LF. findings derived indicate that significantly predict LF across all quantiles. These results offer valuable insights can inform formulation strategies aimed at addressing mitigating impacts warming.
