Laissez-faire leadership is mainly perceived as zero leadership, and research on it relatively scant compared with other dominant approaches to leadership. Although the adverse effects of laissez-faire have been well examined, its influence talent management (TM) has undiscovered. This study assessed impact TM strategies, including attraction, retention, engagement, development. Data were collected from 460 employees pharmaceutical companies in Bangladesh using judgmental sampling. Purpose This study aims to understand the practices and perceptions of education for sustainable development (ESD) in university classrooms Malaysia, exploring how holistic, pluralistic action-oriented approaches ESD were linked their knowingness, attitudes behavior regarding sustainability. Design/methodology/approach The 2,678 students 1,013 teachers from a range undergraduate postgraduate courses at four Malaysian universities surveyed. Their views sustainability consciousness (SC) recorded on five-point Likert-type scales, resulting data was investigated using descriptive analytical statistics. Purpose This phenomenological case study reports how 16 participating students built their leadership skill through a community-based service-learning project as part of undergraduate program at an Islamic university in Indonesia. Education for sustainability framework promoted by Warwick (2016) was employed to portray students' development and explore lived experience while doing neighborhood. Design/methodology/approach Phenomenological the participants engaged projects that empower community during service amidst coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.
