Fluorosis in coal-burning areas of Southwest China is exacerbated by multi-pathway fluoride exposure, with diet emerging as a critical factor due to traditional food preparation methods. This study systematically evaluated accumulation, bioavailability, and health risks associated foods roasted over high-fluoride coal, particular focus on chili-a dietary staple heightened absorption bioavailability. Results indicated that after 30 days roasting, chili's content reached 869.82 mg·kg-1, bioavailability levels between 2.18 12.00%, making it the largest contributor hazard index (HI), accounting for 80% total when was considered. In comparison, corn, tofu, pork, though accumulating varying extents, presented lower thus relatively risks. Recent shifts region show reduced corn consumption increased chili pork intake, further shifting exposure risk toward high-bioavailability like chili. These findings highlight need management interventions regions, prioritizing moderated revised cooking practices mitigate fluorosis effectively.

There is a lack of treatment for the detrimental effects fluorosis. Sodium fluoride at concentration 10 ppm induces stress, depression and memory impairment in adult Wistar rats. Naringin, flavanone glycoside isolated from citrus fruits such as lemons oranges, possesses anti-inflammatory, antioxidant neuroprotective properties; therefore, it was used induced toxicity present study. Adult rats were divided into eight groups (n=8). The normal control (NOR) group provided with tap water. sodium (FLU)10 received water containing 60 days. (FLU10NAR100 FLU10NAR50) drinking

Fluoridation (Fl) is effective in preventing caries; however, it unclear to what extent its use counteracted by misinformation on the internet. This study aimed evaluate information provided professional websites of German dental practices regarding fluoridation. A systematic search was performed two independent examiners, utilizing three engines, from 10 September 2021 11 December 2021. Modified, validated questionnaires (LIDA, DISCERN) were used technical and functional aspects, generic quality, risk bias. Demographic statements about Fl also collected. The intra- inter-rater reliability assessments excellent. Of 81 analyzed, 64 (79%) mentioned Fl, 31 (38%) indicated as a primary focus. Most met at least 50% LIDA (90%) DISCERN criteria (99%), indicating that general quality good. Thirty (37%) explained impact forty-five (56%) an opinion (for/against) Fl. practice location clinical focus not associated with overall websites. Only minority effects Taken together, this highlights there distinct lack good-quality FL.
