Insufficient adhesion between ultrathin wearing courses (UTWCs) and substrate layers can result in pavement distress. Epoxy asphalt exhibits potential as a tack coat due to its high bonding strength thermal stability. However, rapid curing may pose challenges construction schedules. This study aimed optimize the formulations of epoxy coats (EATCs) enhance interfacial working performance UTWCs. The EATCs was evaluated through rotational viscosity tensile tests. Design parameters were optimized using analysis variance microscopic Road assessed via interlayer shear testing on three structures. results indicated that agent strongly influenced properties kinetics EATCs. Formulations containing complex polysebacic polyanhydride (CPSPA-EA) exhibited superior while meeting Microscopic CPSPA-EA revealed stable crosslinked network formed at 30% binder dosage. amount spraying significantly impacted UTWC optimal amounts 0.60 kg/m2 for concrete (AC-13), 0.55 stone matrix (SMA-13), 0.40 cement layers. These findings presented an optimization framework designing UTWCs long-term balanced application parameters.

Epoxy-modified asphalt binder has been widely used in steel deck pavement due to its excellent properties and it is a potential candidate for long life pavements. However, short reserve time limits widespread application engineering. Therefore, this work developed novel epoxy-modified composed of laboratory-made curing agent as solution. Firstly, optimization preparation temperature new material was studied balance the requirements enough construction strength elongation. The binder, prepared at optimal 140 °C, had exceeding 120 min, whereas tensile elongation failure were 2.22 MPa 216%, respectively, which satisfied standard paving epoxy well. Secondly, mixture property tests demonstrate high-temperature rutting resistance, water stability low-temperature anti-cracking ability. Additionally, compatibility colloidal analyzed terms microphase structure. uniform distribution showed by laser confocal microscope observation both short-term aging case long-term case, indicates great between resin during process service life. Furthermore, fatigue conducted evaluate durability. mixtures increased 435%, 427%, 342%, 276% under stress ratios 0.3, 0.4, 0.5, 0.6, compared those SBS-modified mixtures. All these results indicate that promising applications engineering, especially suitable long-life road pavement.

The plastic waste crisis in Thailand has emerged as a substantial environmental dilemma, significantly exacerbating pollution both marine and terrestrial ecosystems. Although previous study mostly focused on technological policy solutions, it is still necessary to conduct thorough evaluation of the approach this issue that driven by cultural spiritual values. This aims examine influence eco-sattva principles management garbage Buddhist communities Thailand. It also seeks assess effects Eco-Sattva’s teachings conducting case at Wat Chak Daeng. A comprehensive series interviews were carried out with total 15 participants, encompassing priests, community leaders, volunteers. transcribed data was processed examined using NVivo program. interview findings demonstrate lessons Eco-Sattva are extremely advantageous terms their practical use execution. investigates analyses three-step process Daeng for management, which involves reducing, reusing, recycling trash. provides significant contribution showing resolution not solely reliant technical or policy-focused approaches, but may be derived from principles.
