Abstract
Although
there
is
a
growing
literature
on
the
use
of
telepresence
robots
in
institutional
dementia
care
settings,
limited
research
focused
perspectives
frontline
staff
members
who
deliver
care.
Our
objective
was
to
understand
using
support
residents
with
and
their
families.
Guided
by
Consolidated
Framework
for
Implementation
Research,
we
conducted
four
focus
groups
11
semi-structured
interviews
across
long-term
(LTC)
homes
one
hospital
Canada.
We
included
22
interdisciplinary
(e.g.,
registered
nurses,
social
workers,
occupational
therapists,
recreational
therapists)
experiences
robots.
Thematic
analysis
identified
three
key
themes:
1)
Staff
Training
Support;
2)
Robot
Features;
3)
Environmental
dynamics
Implementation.

structural

micro-,
meso-
macro-levels
settings
effectively
implement

Abstract
Background
Improving

Background

rapid
advancement

technologies

older
adults,

a
collaborative
approach,
integrating
the

studies
