Suboptimal culture conditions during in vitro maturation (IVM) affect oocyte developmental competence and the viability of resulting embryo. Three-dimensional (3D) systems provide a more biologically appropriate environment compared to traditional two-dimensional (2D) cultures. The aim this study was evaluate effect liquid marble (LM) microbioreactors as 3D system on IVM subsequent embryo development prepubertal goat oocytes. cumulus–oocyte complexes (COCs) recovered from ovaries underwent drops under oil (the 2D control group) LM group). After IVM, oocytes were parthenogenetically activated cultured until blastocyst stage. groups showed similar rates nuclear (52.17% 44.12%) formation (10.64% 10.10%). Reactive oxygen species glutathione levels density transzonal projections (TZPs) did not differ between groups. increased mitochondrial activity modified organization these organelles cytoplasm group. microbioreactor demonstrated ability improve status harmful for development. Therefore, could be used cost-effective
