This article explores the temporal disturbances experienced in depression and potential effectiveness of mindfulness-based interventions addressing these disturbances. Drawing upon a Husserlian framework, this examines three phases experience: retention, primal impression, protention. These constitute fusion that allows us to perceive an event as temporally extended event, encompassing past, present, future. The incidence of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) has been increasing, with adolescents and young adults being the peak age onset. Self-management behaviors were demonstrated to enhance remission quality life, yet mechanisms influencing self-management remained under-explored. Background. Mindfulness-based interventions (MBIs) have emerged as an alternative intervention for symptoms of psychological and psychiatric conditions, such depression, anxiety, emotional discomfort. Over the last ten years, MBIs established a growing body evidence that shows cognitive neurophysiological benefits. Depression anxiety are conditions with high prevalence in world population. This systematic review aims to quantitatively qualitatively assess changes neuropsychological, particularly executive functioning cognition domains, electroencephalographical (EEG) effects MBIs. Adolescents with physical disabilities experience common psychological distress that interacts impaired function. While cognitive-based interventions have been implemented for adolescents disabilities, their effects on enhancing health remain uncertain. This systematic review aimed to synthesise the of this population and identify optimal components evidence-based interventions. Following PRISMA guideline, nine databases were searched eligible randomised controlled trials examining from inception October 2023. Data syntheses performed using R software, employing random-effects models. Twelve involving 1201 participants identified. The pooled results revealed did not yield noticeable in reducing anxiety (g = -0.43 postintervention; -0.14 medium term; -0.37 long term), depression -0.05 -0.02 -0.15 term) stress levels -0.15) over time. secondary outcome (physical function) improved significantly term compared control groups 0.31).
