ABSTRACT
Distant
hybridization
and
gynogenesis
are
two
prevalent
breeding
techniques
for
fishes.
Drawing
from
the
research
achievements
of
our
team
existing
literature,
we
summarize
reproductive
traits
genetic
features
fishes
derived
distant
hybridizations
gynogenesis,
deduce
fundamental
mechanisms
these
methods
compare
them,
discerning
their
common
different
characteristics.
Both
can
alter
genotypes
phenotypes,
thus
establishing
them
as
significant
methods.
Additionally,
principles
basic
biological
characteristics
in
fish
have
been
inferred.
We
propose
concepts
macro‐hybrid
micro‐hybrid
based
on
extensive
experimental
findings
gynogenesis.
The
term
“macro‐hybrid”
refers
to
offspring
that
possess
distinct
subgenomes,
each
inherited
one
parental
species,
such
allodiploid
allotetraploid
lineages.
concept
“micro‐hybrid”
offspring,
including
autodiploid
autotetraploid
lineages,
well
those
resulting
artificial
whose
genome
almost
originates
solely
maternal
parent
but
which
