Abstract
A
highly
virulent
Colletotrichum
falcatum
pathotype
(CF08)
was
cultured
in
nutrient
deficit
media
with
fine-cut
sugarcane
stalks
of
red
rot
susceptible
variety
(CoJ
64).
The

collected
for
the
analysis

using

rosea
is
a
promising
saprophytic
filamentous
fungus
that
belongs
to
phylum
Ascomycota.

organism

Fusarium
graminearum,

causative
agent

cereals.

identify
molecular
factors
associated
with
this
interaction,
transcriptomic
and
exometabolomic
profiles

compared
during
coculture.

to
physical
contact,
antagonistic
activity
correlated
response

The
literature
is
full
of
studies
reporting
environmental
and
health
issues
related
to
using
traditional
pesticides
in
food
production
storage.
Fortunately,
alternatives
have
arisen
the
last
few
decades,
showing
that
organic
agriculture
possible
economically
feasible.
And
this
scenario,
fungi
may
be
helpful.
In
natural
environment,
when
associated
with
plants,
these
microorganisms
offer
plant-growth-promoting
molecules,
facilitate
plant
nutrient
uptake,
antagonize
phytopathogens.
It
true
can
also
phytopathogenic,
but
even
they
benefit
some
way—since
pathogenicity
species-specific,
are
shown
useful
against
weeds
(as
bioherbicides).
Finally,
plant-associated
yeasts

biofactories,
metabolites
produce
while
