Here, we assemble task-free and structural magnetic resonance imaging data from 33,250 individuals aged 32 postmenstrual weeks to 80 years 132 global sites. ABSTRACT Objective Children at familial high risk for psychosis (FHR) are substantially increased psychotic disorders and other serious mental illnesses. Identifying subgroups within FHR youth may enhance prediction models to identify children greatest potential intervention. This study investigated psychosis-linked symptoms structural brain patterns in neurocognitive among the Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development (ABCD) Study using baseline, 2-year, 4-year follow-up data. Methods Among with first- second-degree family history of psychosis, were defined NIH Toolbox Battery baseline age-corrected total scores: low (FHR-LC, 0-33%, n=234), moderate (FHR-MC, 33-66%, n=261), (FHR-HC, 66-100%, n=277) cognitive performance. Psychiatric assessed Prodromal Questionnaire-Brief Child Version (PQ-BC) Childhood Behavior Checklist (CBCL). Regional vulnerability indices (SSD-RVIs), which quantify similarity participants’ found adults schizophrenia spectrum disorders, calculated cortical thickness measures following rigorous quality control. Results At FHR-LC had significantly higher PQ-BC CBCL scores, trend-level SSD-RVIs compared FHR-HC. Longitudinally, scores decreased age across all participants, while remained stable. The Adolescent Brain and Cognitive Development (ABCD) project is the largest study of adolescent brain development. ABCD longitudinally tracks 11,868 participants aged 9-10 years from 21 sites using standardized protocols for multi-site MRI data collection analysis. While multi-scanner design enhances robustness generalizability analysis results, it may also introduce nonbiological variances including scanner-related variations, subject motion, deviations protocols. imaging were collected biennially within a period ongoing maturation in cortical thickness integrity cerebral white matter. These changes can bias classical test-retest methodologies, such as intraclass correlation coefficients (ICC). Methods To comprehensively capture such variability, using data from 9758 children aged 8.9-11.1 years ABCD Study ® , we employed linked independent component analysis (LICA) fused vertex-wise thickness, surface area, curvature grey-/white-matter contrast (GWC). LICA revealed 70 uni- multimodal components. We then assessed linear relationships education, income each components, controlling age, sex, genetic ancestry, family relatedness. also whether structure moderated negative SES general psychopathology.
