Fear of missing out (FOMO), conceptualized from self-determination theory (SDT), is a sense disconnect others that produces negative emotions (e.g., anxiety). This study aimed to investigate the underlying mechanisms through which social media (SNS) addiction influences college students' academic performance. We developed an integrated model of relationship between SNS and performance based on dual-systems theory. A total 251 students participated in this study. Partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) was used analyze empirical data. The results indicated that self-control mediated impact grade point average (GPA). Moreover, had a positive their anxiety stress, turn negatively moderated GPA. Educators can use these findings improve with addiction.

Social media has become a primary source of entertainment and education for children globally. While much attention been given to children's online well-being, pressing concern often goes unnoticed: the pervasive data harvesting underlying social its manipulative impact on undermining autonomy. In this paper, we present CHAITok, an Android mobile application designed enhance sense autonomy over their media. Through 27 user study sessions with 109 aged 10–13, offer insights into current lack among regarding information, how can foster through socio-technical journey. Introduction Encouraging consumer participation in marine recreational sport activities is recognized as a key strategy for boosting both local and regional economies.
