The microstructure design of the dielectric layer has been demonstrated to enhance measurement performance flexible pressure sensors. Nevertheless, current isotropic and anisotropic microstructures are incapable overcoming substantial rise in compressive stiffness accompanying increased pressure, leading compromised restricted linear ranges. For above problem, a capacitive sensor integrated with wedge (AWM)-based is proposed. First, utilizing capacity AWM induce bending deformations, AWM-based designed. Then, novel electromechanical model considering AWMs’ intrinsic relationship proposed for sensors shows its capability measurement. Furthermore, according analysis, AWMs-based layers fabricated cost-effectively, accuracy also experimentally verified. Finally, experimental results demonstrate that based on AWMs wide highly sensitive range (0–20 kPa; $R^{{2}}$ = 99.96%), fast recovery time (33.8 ms), excellent cycle stability (5000 cycles), which can make it promising applications fields, such as wearable devices operation robots.
