Celiac disease (CeD) is a chronic immune-mediated disorder of the small intestine triggered by ingestion dietary gluten. This narrative review aims to summarize and critically evaluate recent literature on association between CeD infertility, with an emphasis identifying patterns inconsistencies. Previous studies have reported conflicting findings: while some demonstrate higher prevalence unexplained infertility in patients CeD, others do not support this association. Abstract Up to a half of couples seeking medical assistance for infertility are diagnosed with unexplained infertility, characterized by normal ovulation, tubal patency, and semen analysis results. This condition presents challenge in determining the optimal treatment approach. Available treatments include IUI IVF, but guidelines vary on when offer each. Prognosis-based management is identified as research priority, various prediction models have been developed guide decisions. Prognostic factors female age, duration subfertility, sperm parameters, among others. strategies can enhance cost-effectiveness, safety, patient outcomes, offering less invasive options those good prognoses more aggressive interventions poor prognoses. Infertility affects millions globally, with 10-15% of couples experiencing unexplained cases. Despite advancements in medicine, the cause remains unknown, causing emotional distress. Recent research suggests a genetic basis for this issue. This review aims to provide better understanding underlying factors contributing infertility and potentially identify markers that could aid diagnosis treatment condition. A literature was conducted understand infertility. Relevant articles from databases like PubMed Google Scholar were analyzed, covering topics genetics, chromosomal abnormalities, markers, fertility, resulting 50 articles.
