In this review, an analysis summary research results over past decades regarding effectiveness various types stem cells in heart pathology were conducted. Priority directions include search accessible safe sources cells, new their cultivation, scaffolds transplantation. Given pathogenetic mechanisms cardiovascular myocardial regeneration, particular interest clinical application is drawn to tissue-specific progenitors from myocardium replacing injured cardiomyocytes, endothelial correcting accompanying dysfunction, multipotent mesenchymal origins with low immunogenicity that exhibit trophic, anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory, anti-apoptotic effects. Questions optimal method, dose, frequency cell administration, as well standardization criteria quality effectiveness, remain open. Additionally, combined different may serve priority strategy assessing safety therapy, especially considering paradigm repeated The successful translation obtained preclinical into further large, well-planned, placebo-controlled trials will enhance therapy diseases, which one current challenges regenerative medicine.

Abstract Background Adolescent and young adult (AYA) solid organ transplant (SOT) recipients experience increased rates of rejection graft loss surrounding the time health care transition, in part due to poor medication adherence. This study aims examine impact a once‐daily formulation tacrolimus, LCP‐tacrolimus (LCPT), on adherence for AYA SOT patients. Methods A retrospective descriptive analysis was performed all patients who underwent were prescribed LCPT after age 12 at our single‐center pediatric hospital. Medication assessed via provider documentation level variability index (MLVI). Results Twenty‐nine as their immunosuppression regimen. Twenty converted from immediate‐acting (IR) tacrolimus; six initiated immediately following transplant, three unable receive insurance denial. There numeric improvement when measured by assessment (45.0% vs. 68.4%, p = .140) MLVI (40.0% 71.4%, .276), though these did not reach statistical significance. no differences episodes or adverse effects. prescription associated with decreased burden, two transitioned back IR tacrolimus cost. Conclusions use significantly improve patient adherence; however, it resulted numerically higher perceived rates. appears be safe effective management recipients; may affect pill burden result financial burden.
