However, its mechanistic role in OAS needs better understood and necessitates more studies. This study was planned investigate GL's therapeutic effects the tripterygium wilfordii polyglycoside (GTW)-induced rat model. In total, 60 Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats at 8 weeks age were assigned six groups: blank (NC), model (GTW), GL low-dose (GL-L, 0.3 g/kg/day), medium-dose (GL-M, 0.6 high-dose (GL-H, 1.2 + PI3K inhibitor LY294002 (GL-H g/kg/day LY mg/kg/day) groups. The characterized after examine sperm concentration viability, serum hormone levels, testes histopathology, specific protein markers. treatment efficacy evaluated by mRNA expression among other parameters. Impaired spermatogenesis and male infertility are common consequences of chemotherapy drugs used in patients with testicular cancer. The present study investigated the effects sodium alginate (NaAL) on toxicity caused by bleomycin, etoposide, cisplatin (BEP). Rats group 1 received normal saline, while groups 2 3 were treated 25 50 mg/kg NaAL, respectively. Group 4 was a 21-day cycle BEP (0.5 5 cisplatin), 6 regimen plus Then, sperm parameters, testosterone levels, histopathology stereological levels malondialdehyde (MDA), nitric oxide (NO), total antioxidant capacity (TAC), expression apoptosis-associated genes including Bcl2, Bax, Caspase3, p53, TNF-α evaluated. Our findings revealed that NaAL improved histopathology, stereology parameters BEP-administrated rats. also testis status enhancing TAC ameliorating MDA NO. Further, modifications to suggested alleviated BEP-induced apoptosis inflammation. Collectively, protects rats' testes against BEP-evoked damage through modulation nitro-oxidative stress, apoptosis,

Garlic (Allium sativum L.) is a primary dietary component worldwide because of its health benefits and use as traditional medicine. Elephant garlic ampeloprasum L.), related species in the same genus, less intense sweeter than A. sativum. The object this study was to investigate alleviative effects aged black (ABG) elephant (ABEG) on obesity muscle atrophy induced by high fat diet-induced obese mice. We demonstrated that ABG ABEG alleviated enhanced myogenic differentiation myotube hypertrophy, effect mediated upregulation Akt/mTOR/p70S6K signaling. Furthermore, candidate bioactive compound suggested through analysis using gas chromatography-mass spectroscopy ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectroscopy. In conclusion, may alleviate treat obesity-induced atrophy.

Cadmium (Cd), an environmental pollutant present in soil, water, and food, is known to pose significant risks male reproductive health by inducing oxidative stress toxicity. Scrophularia striata extract (SSE) rich natural antioxidants that play a crucial role neutralizing toxins protecting various organs. This study aimed evaluate the therapeutic potential of SSE mitigating testicular damage impairments spermatogenesis induced Cd using animal model. Adult mice were randomly assigned six groups: control, Cd, 100 mg/kg, 200 mg/kg plus Cd. Mice intraperitoneally injected with 0.35 for 35 days, or without SSE. At study’s conclusion, parameters assessed, including sperm count, motility, viability, morphology, DNA integrity, testosterone levels, histopathology, levels malondialdehyde (MDA), nitric oxide (NO), total antioxidant capacity (TAC) testes. The results demonstrated significantly improved spermatogenesis, as indicated chromatin integrity. Additionally, histopathology notably SSE‐treated groups. While exposure elevated testes, treatment effectively enhanced defense increasing TAC reducing NO MDA levels. Overall, provided substantial protection against chronic modulating stress, highlighting its promising herbal therapy addressing toxicity infertility linked pollutants.

Preservation of human spermatozoa in vitro at normothermia or hypothermia maintaining their functions and fertility for several days plays a significant role reproductive biology medicine. However, it is well known that left deteriorate over time irreversibly as the consequence various stresses such change osmolarity, energy deficiency, oxidative damage, leading to substantial limitations including need semen examinations, preservation, assisted technology. These problems may be addressed with aid non-freezing storage techniques. The main most effective preservation strategies are partial total replacement seminal plasma culture medium, named extenders, temperature-induced metabolic restriction. Semen extenders consist buffers, osmolytes, antioxidants, etc. protect against above-mentioned adverse factors. Extended has negative effect on sperm parameters, whereas its ART outcomes remains inconsistent. duration, temperature, pre-treatment should determined according aims preservation. Abstract There is a growing concern that antidepressant drugs impair sexual function and adversely impact spermatogenesis male fertility. Vitamin C natural antioxidant plays vital role in the reproductive system. The present study investigated ameliorating potential of vitamin against citalopram (CTL)‐evoked testicular toxicity impairment mice. Mice were randomly divided into six groups: control, CTL, 100, 200, CTL plus 200. Adult mice intraperitoneally (ip) injected with 10 mg/kg for 35 days or without C. At end study, body testes weight, sperm parameters, histopathology testes, testosterone level, levels malondialdehyde (MDA), nitric oxide (NO), total capacity (TAC), apoptosis (TUNEL assay) evaluated. Our findings revealed restored by improving count, motility, viability, morphology, chromatin integrity. Testosterone significantly improved C‐administrated groups. Furthermore, administration markedly alleviated CTL‐induced nitro‐oxidative damage, enhancing TAC levels, reducing NO MDA levels. Whilst therapy induced significant increase number TUNEL‐positive cells compared to prevented apoptotic effects CTL. Together, protects damage via mitigating stress apoptosis, which provides evidence as beneficial drug‐associated sub/infertility.

Abstract Aim The present study aimed to explore the potential ameliorative effects of L‐arginine (LA), L‐carnitine (LC), and bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell‐conditioned medium (BMSC‐CM) on endometriosis (EMS) model in vivo vitro. Methods animals were divided into two main groups, normal EMS‐induced mice. Normal groups injected with or without LA (250 mg/kg), LC BMSC‐CM (a final volume 100 μL CM/mouse). At end study, level total antioxidant capacity (TAC), nitric oxide (NO), oxidative status (TOS) measured plasma. Furthermore, immature oocytes collected from cultured a maturation medium. Subsequently, rates vitro maturation, fertilization (IVF), embryonic development evaluated. Results results revealed that administration LA, LC, ameliorated through maintaining TAC alleviating TOS NO levels. More importantly, rates, blastocyst development, cell numbers significantly increased BMSC‐CM‐administrated compared control group. In both EMS highest IVF, cleavage, percentages associated treatment ( p < 0.05). Conclusion Altogether, have therapeutic impaired oocyte quality promote subsequent vitro, probably normalization nitro‐oxidative stress, thus offering alternatives conventional therapies during assisted reproductive technologies for patients EMS‐associated sub/infertility.
